Had a gorgeous afternoon tea on 31st Oct. Better than most places you'd get in Manchester City centre!! A lovely little gem. Will definitely be back post-lockdown!

The service was so wholesome, genuine and caring. The Son of the owners spent the night serving us and making conversation and he genuinely could not do enough for us. The food was excellent and you could taste quality even in the raw ingredients. I will preface this next statment by saying that I do not like fish, but I ordered the mackeral salad to be adventurous and I loved it. Clean plate and that is no easy feat. The potato dauphinoise was some of the nicest carbohydrate ever served at any point in time or at any other geographical location. If you only ever come to this restaurant for one thing, make it the potato. The price was also more than reasonable for the portion sizes. My partner who is perhaps the most wasteful person ever (Sorry my dear!) Also cleaned away all 3 courses and stated that it was the perfect amount of food. This is truly a hidden gem. A diamond in the rough, the rough being the surrounding town.

My partner and my self have just had the most amazing meal tonight Saturday 25/July/20 I had the chicken Espetada which was absolutely amazing. The chicken was tender and juicy the peppers and red onion where sweet and smokey it came served with fresh house salad, coleslaw, fries and a garlic butter to poor over most enjoyable. My partner had The cheese burger which came served with fries The burger was juicy and sweet with just the right amount of topping served on a fresh bun which he thoroughly enjoyed. Then followed the dessert which consisted of a home baked chocolate brownie served with ice cream or fresh cream the brownie was soft and sweet with a lovely crunch to the outside again very enjoyable. I would recommend the cherry lips cocktail it is very refreshing. As regards to the service It is second to none nothing is to much trouble the guys really do go above and beyond I highly recommend eating here.
