Took my dog Toby for a walk around Ashton Park this morning for an hour. Make sure you wrap up warm and have good footwear as its quite icy in parts. Otherwise a lovely walk. Toby enjoyed it

A great large park with a nice perimeter path for walks and a surprising amount of wildlife, with tawny owls, and many species of bats (you can see the large noctule bats feeding under the path lights in the summer) all easy to find and observe.

Very basic park with a ha-ha wall and disused fountain. Expansive field area, not much else.
