Got married here at the beginning of September 2020, the staff and venue were amazing. We couldn’t have ask for a more perfect day. Karen was fantastic she was there from morning until late into the night, nothing was too much trouble. Considering all the restrictions in place due to Covid, I really felt the day was just perfect. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails. The grounds are stunning with views of alpacas or llamas in a near by field. We stayed the night along with a number of guest, the rooms were lovely and the breakfast the next day was brilliant. I would highly recommend Ashton Lodge to anyone.

We had our wedding at Ashton Lodge Country House on 20th July 2019 and it could not have been more perfect! From planning through to the big day, Sarah and Natalie were on call to answer any questions we might have and assist us with any resolutions. The venue itself was exactly what we wanted. Small enough to feel intimate but large enough to give space. The photo opportunities were huge. Beautiful shots inside and out. On the day before and on the day itself Natalie was fantastic. She was calm, professional and on hand to make sure the day went to plan. The food was amazing - all our guests commented so, and the full english was definitely a bonus the morning after. I was worried about the night staff keeping the residents awake, but we didn't hear a thing! I cannot recommend Ashton Lodge Country House enough for a relaxed, elegant, secluded wedding. Perfect!
My daughter had her wedding here on Tuesday 8th September this year. It’s been a difficult time for both parties with all rules in place. Ashton Lodge were wonderful and the venue is stunning & the outdoor space is beautiful for photos. The weather was gorgeous and even with only 30 guests Ashton couldn’t of done anymore they worked tirelessly throughout the day making sure her wedding was perfect. I would like to thank all staff and especially Karen who was there from early morning to late evening. Nothing was too much trouble she never stopped. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. This year has been very difficult and uncertain but thus was a perfect day thank you Ashton & Karen Sue
My husband and I got married at Ashton Lodge in 2014 So when the opportunity came up to be at the venue again we snapped at the chance. We were welcomed into the venue and shown to our table. The tables were all spaced out for social distancing. The staff were very friendly and we all felt safe with the covid restrictions. We had a sharing platter which was lovely. The roast was different as we were given a chef hat and apron and someone on the table had to carve the beef joint, our friend did Which we found very funny. There were plenty of fresh veg and trimmings to go around. The trio of deserts were nice and small as we were all full at this point They were delicious. The staff were so friendly and was always coming to the table to see if we were ok or needed anything. We would definitely recommend and returned when they reopen. We also had a cheeky photo under the brick archway like on our wedding day.
I photographed a wedding at Ashton Lodge last year and think it's an amazing place for a wedding! It was pouring with rain but the ceremony room is stunning! The bridal prep room has great lighting too, so I'd definitely recommend using it for getting ready in the morning!
