A semi frequent visitor (would be more but carpark gets full quick). Consistently good food. Lovely staff. Understandable why they get so busy. Never had a bad visit.

If it would have been possible I would have gone for 3 and half stars but it isn't and 4 stars is too high..Mash was \stretchy\ and the Yorkshire pudding weren't fresh..Meat was ok but the overall impression was 3.4*..Sorry
ITS A NICE AND CLEAN AND STAFF FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP A PERSON WITH DISABILITIES I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH DISABILITIES TO GIVE IT A GO! Went for Sunday lunch and it was really nice, mushy peas a bit of a surprise though! Good WiFi too. Well set up for Covid with at table service only and one table at a time at the carvery, they serve you your vegetables too. The table cleaning wasn't as good as it could have been, this was mentioned to the floor manager so hopefully it will be better now.
Ashby Lodge has just changed to a different chain (March 2018) it now does a full carvery and it was very nice, but not a lot of choice on the veg. We had booked for a table of 8 but the table we were given was only good for 6 and it was close to the door and very cold. Seven year old granddaughter got more meat on her plate then what I did. Would deffo go back.
