Wow, what a course. I've always wanted to play here having travelled on the train line that passes the boundary of the course hundreds of times and I wasn't disappointed. Course was in superb condition and the greens true and quick. We played with next to no wind so I guess we played it at its easiest. The pro shop steward was friendly and the shop well stocked. The bar has a great view of the course. For me this is slightly better than Machynys just down the coast and one of the best courses I've ever played. All for under 50 is outstanding value

Perfectly kept links style course,great veiws,good food and a lovely pint.
Interesting and challenging links course rewarding accuracy with deep rough and gorse flanking most holes. Greens fast and undulating with some deep bunkers making accuracy on approach key. I particularly liked 14, 15 and the intriguing three tiered 18 promising a clear decider if scores are still tight at this stage. The second 9 are tougher holes and also pitch you against the sea wind (and rain) which we had today in full force! A memorable course which truly tested a whole range of shots.
Great links course, very nice clubhouse,always enjoy a round at the Ash.
