Basic riverside campsite with loads of room spread over 3 fields with amazing views next to a working farm. Stayed here for 5 nights in August in our camper van. No strict parking measures just plain simple camping. Very quiet at night and sensibly priced for basic toilet block and crockery washing. All kept clean with COVID sanitizer facilities provided.

I’ve just had an amazing weekend there. Fantastic views, fantastic site. No phone signal whatsoever but that really was a blessing. The one loo was a challenge but hey - I’m nitpicking.

We had a brilliant time and the kids had a amazing time! If you can live without your phone and just enjoy quality time with family and friends definitely the place for you The staff were really friendly and very helpful and the toilets were kept very clean and it wasn't over booked

I normally only camp in my tent with electric hook up, (single mum with 4 children), but couldn’t get in anywhere else so had to compromise and take the pitch . Best decision ever !!! The most fantastic views and walks from the site . Perfect for all ages and amazing for cyclists too. Owners very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion would be more than one toilet for women, ( I have 4 girls ), l and the tap for water is the one over the sink for washing pots which means lots of queueing, on a busy weekend, as people wash pots and we just wanted a drink of water . Few more taps and loos would be perfect :) That said I will of course be back as you cannot beat that view and location . Owner is aware of these small issues and I understand she wants to attract ‘the right people’ ; cannot blame her as she’s living In such a lovely location. Thankyou and everyone I highly recommend :)

a beautiful basic campsite but the rules seem to be that relaxed its attracting allkinds. when we arrived there was a young couple who pitched up near to us but on diff feild no problem with this until around 7.30pm when a car full of there friends rocked up and they pitched a tent alongside theres and all of them partied into the early hours with loud music and they all got louder the more drunk they got singing and shouting luckily they did quieten down around 1am.but that's not the end of it we were woken at 3.40am by rustling n whispering outside our tent n heard somebody walk right past our bedroom area my hubby got dressed n went out to see what was going on. 4 guys were walking back to the party tent they had no business hanging round our tent we were good 50 to 60 feet away from them on a different field my only conclusion is they were looking round for items to steal. this has put me off staying on this usually peaceful site ever again
