Big car park really close to beautiful landscapes and great footpaths. For 3 you can park starting from 9 am up to 19:30. This area gets really busy and you can run out of place to park really quick so I would recommend that you get there early. I would definitely recommend this for a day out with your family and/or friends.

Parking is good it's large with plenty of space. Toilets available but it's 20p coin to use them, so no coin no toilet. The car park can get busy but is summer there is an overflow car park. There is also a takeaway cafe it's there more in the summer and weekends in the winter. They sell hot drinks cake and ice cream. Well worth a visit.

Only 3 to park all day next to one of the best family walking routes on the southern end of the Peak District. Plenty of space even though we arrived at 11am, toilets were OPEN & clean early in the day but due to rain during day they were muddy in evening. No food facilities here. Walk from here to Milldale is 3 miles and there u can find a nice local cafe (ice cream, hot drinks, first aid stuff) & more toilets. Note: cafe was serving takeaway only when we visited on 18/07/2020, use card (5 min) or cash

Good, place to have a walk, however it is a very popular place, and gets very busy quickly. The river was very swollen today, which meant we couldn't cross the stones.
