Typical asda, but super friendly staff here who are always happy and helpful

Asda is a great store for having most things under one roof reasonably priced. This particular Asda being a super store has absolutely everything and is 24hrs :).
Today my mother myself and my brother called into Asda Portadown to grab some Christmas Essentials. we don't usually shop here so little did we know how poorly some of the staff members treat their customers. We completed our shopping without any hindrance, however issues arose when we got to the checkout. I myself began to scan my items at the self service checkout which within my basket I had a pair of eyebrow sculpting scissors which at the time of purchasing I was unaware that they where a estricted item\. I completed scanning my items and awaiting a store colleague to authorise the purchase as I didn't think it would be an issue as I am a twenty year old man who as at the checkout with my 10 year old brother and nearly 40 year old mother... The lady approached me asked me for my identification, which I did not have on me. she declined and did not allow me to purchase while signalling the security guard personnel to \explain\ to us. however me and my mother both insisted there was no problem and we would leave the item. When I paid for my items my mother asked me to grab the scissors and she would purchase them with her identification. The security guard approached us broke social distancing rules. while raising his voice at my mother asking her \did you send that boy to go and get them scissors again\. as we where both shocked by his attitude we did not speak which he then invaded my mothers personal space again by going into her face and saying \sorry?!\ without even giving us a chance to answer. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a woman! It would not have been a problem if his attitude wasn't horrendous! (raising his voice and breaking social distancing). very intimidating! He made us feel very uncomfortable!
Only 2 or 3 employees wearing mask !!! Of 25. INThe middle of the pandemic approaching another lockdown. how irresponsible , don't care about the people dying or the first responders. Very thoughtful people. And for the employee that answer was her choice, I want to remind her that she is denying the choice of life to the people she'll infect.
Just been here and the number of people in the shop NOT wearing face masks is ridiculous, especially 'new citizens'. Are they all exempt?? I doubt it. You should look after your mask wearing customers better than this Asda! I shall be going elsewhere from now on. #wereallinthistogether
