I’m writing this on behalf of my friend Martin Hanscombe who is unbelievably shy. He loves filling up here. He’ll concoct reasons to drive here, fill up his car, browse the pasty aisles for a while, head home, realise he’s used up fuel getting home then immediately turn around and come back to top his tank up. This can often consume entire weekends of his. The reality is that he’s a big fan of the garage, all the pumps (including the notorious pump five!) and all the staff. He’d like to invite the team over for a bbq when the weather gets better. Can you let me know if you can pencil in a weekend in April or May (restrictions permitting), any dietary requirements you may have and approximate numbers - if we can restrict it to core team plus immediate family.

Nice cheap place to fill up. Only card payments. Wheatley.

Usually the cheapest fuel in Oxford area - currently 110.7 Petrol and 112.7 Diesel (VS 118.9 and 120.9 at most other places). Also self service and has tyre gas. Whenever I go there: there's rarely anyone else, let alone a queue. And, unlike other places in Oxford (Sainsbury's specifically) you can normally get fuel 24/7 as long as you have a debit / credit card. Simple and does the job.

Yes it's normally the cheapest around, but after many failed attempts it's cost more trying, most of the pumps are out of use, it often refuses card payments, impossible to get help as they don't man them now. I would rather pay more for fuel than deal with the hassle of asda.

For me i prefer the pay at pump stations so this is perfect for me its a quick fill up and get out again.
