Absolutely love ASDA opticians. Does what it says on the tin. A pleasant experience with friendly helpful staff who are not pushy and there aren't loads of staff hovering. Definitely recommend them!

I can't recommend ASDA opticians enough. From the actual eye test (really thorough and professional) to help with choosing frames from the lovely Rhiannon. Today when I collected my new \spectaculars\ I was lucky enough to have Rhiannon again she spent ages patiently explaining how to wear my varifocals and ensured I was happy and comfortable before leaving the practice.
Don't waste your time, staff are nowhere near as helpful as spec savers. Appointment times are over three weeks. I had trial lenses that I couldn't wear for more than 4 hours and told them, they made an appointment for me knowing I needed to try something more expensive. They rang me on the morning of my appointment asking if I needed to try different lenses??? Explaining they had nothing in stock!!?? When they eventually rang to say lenses were in, I was then told I had to wait nearly 3 weeks. No contingency for an urgent case as my glasses had also broken. Spec savers would have done something to help me under the circumstances but the person I spoke with sounded like she couldn't care less!!!
Lovely friendly staff with excellent service.
Reasonable range of glasses and some competitive prices. Staff are not pushy about sales and give some good advice.
