I want to leave a thank you for the delivery people! I am at home on my own with Covid 19 this week. Your delivery driver Stephen was aware this morning that I wasn’t coming out until he had driven off because I wanted to keep him safe but he wouldn’t leave until he had satisfied himself that the order was right and that I was OK too. Thank you for putting yourself at risk just to deliver my shopping. Retail workers have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, many doing overtime to cover colleagues who are shielding, isolating or ill. We must not forget these underpaid heros when we feel thanks to those who help us!

Only visited here due to local restrictions but won't be back. First shop I've been in where I've seen people not wearing masks. Some have obviously worn them to get through the entrance but then wearing them around their necks or under their noses. Others blatantly not wearing them at all. Also no social distancing at tills. Even although there were lots of staff members around this area ( I counted 5 ) not one of them were doing anything to sort it out. I heard one cashier asking customers to keep their distance and I myself had to tell customers behind me to move back as they attempted to stand right next to me at the till. Avoid this shop.
The one way system has completely collapsed , there's no social distancing and no attempts by staff to encourage this. This place does not feel safe at all - much less so than it did during the first peak.The only reason i've given the store 1 star is because i couldn't post this review without doing so.
Not been impressed recently as I placed an order for home delivery between 7pm-8.30pm, 7.45pm the van turned up during a downpour, literally dumped the shopping on the doorstep, and thrust the pad to sign under my nose and legged it. I did shout \What should I do if somethings missing?\ and was told to call back and it would be re-delivered THAT NIGHT! The whole chilled section was missing (19 items), my bread was squashed beyond recognition, sugar missing and there were two substitutes. I called back, and, like the driver said, was promised it's delivery by 9pm. Well 9pm came and went so I called again and was ASSURED that my missing items would be delivered by 10am the next morning, I explained how important this was due it being my son's birthday party THAT day at 12pm, and was PROMISED the items arrival by 10am. You guessed it, NO ITEMS BY 10am so I called again, apologies were sprinkled and an ASSURANCE that they would be delivered by 12pm. Obviously I did not trust their assurance's so I took myself off to Morissons and purchased the items ready for my son's party (which went well no thanks to ASDA). The items still NEVER came, I called after and was told THEY WOULD NO LONGER BE DELIVERING MY MISSING ITEMS, THAT THE ORDER HAD FAILED TO BE SANCTIONED BY A LINE MANAGER AND IT WAS TOO LATE NOW!!!! I would advise NOBODY to use them, the call centre is manned by people with a poor grasp of English (probably Mumbai based) and the customer care is shambolic - I spoke to only one member of staff who was of any help or who actually sounded like he cared and I advised him to get himself a better job as his skills were far above ASDA's paygrade. Absolutely furious that they then offered us an e voucher by way of compensation to spend ONLINE at ASDA....like thats EVER happening again!!
