Nice enough environment and staff. Was a bit frustrating to have to wait nearly an hour at the pizza counter but very good once I got it.

The floor assistant was very helpful and pleasant when he was showing me to a product I was having difficulty locating. However the checkout procedure left a lot to be desired. The store was not busy and we joined a queue of about 8 people but it was slow moving as there were not many operatives on the tills. We queued for about 10 minutes and during this time the queue built up right to the back of the store and other customers were constantly coming close crossing the queue to the clothing area. Covid precautions were not being met. Eventually 'queue busting ' staff were called to the tills. By the time we had passed through the tills 20 minutes had passed and my husband commented to the till operative that he thought they should have had more tills open sooner. The response took our breath away. She tore into my husband saying she was sick of people complaining. She was a key worker and had been at work since 7am and she also accused him of being rude. A truly disproportionate response which left us feeling battered bruised. Had there been a member of staff to talk to we would have raised our experience with them. We don't mind queuing when places are busy but the store wasn't, poor staff management of the queue had caused the problem and put people at risk. All we were commenting on. We are reluctant to return.
