What a wonderful class! We painted an attractive Valentine themed sign! Denyse is a great teacher- her classes are organized and she gives good instructions! There is always plenty of materials and assistance! What a fun evening!

We found Artist At Heart Paint party through facebook when Denyse started offering her free virtual painting classes in March on 2020. It quickly became part of my 4.5 ear old daughter's daily routine and we scheduled other learning activities around so we don't miss the live show. After over 60 paintings, drawings, sketches and other artwork that now covers walls in two of our rooms we find ourselves signing up for the Virtual Camp week after week because my daughter would asks even on the weekend if we are going to the painting class. Denyse is a fun teacher with great personality who loves to tell stories while the kids catch up with their work during the session. My daughter's favorite part is when all the children come on screen showing the progress of their own art, making her understand that everybody has a style and is at a different level and that there's no right or wrong in art. Especially during these times when missing out on interacting with other kids in school this is crucial part of the sessions for us. And for weeks I didn't push my daughter to go on screen finally I made her do it and now every day she is more confident in speaking up. Of course it helps that at this point the group became a family, all kids are familiar faces and will surely miss them at the end. Thank you for making our quarantine to be more bearable by allowing a glimpse to many parts of the country to see we are not alone in this.
We love Artist at Heart! My daughter has been doing her classes for almost a year now and it's really helped to expand her creativity and artistic abilities. She loves painting with Artist at Heart!
I saw advertisements for Artist at Heart Paint Party online and quickly dismissed them! I am NO artist. Why would I even try something like that?? Boy was I wrong!! I was thumbing through a magazine and saw a painting hanging in a fancy house and I fell in love!! Way out of my budget probably. So I thought to myself, how hard can that be to make myself? It’s an abstract, maybe I can figure it out. Still I was frozen in self doubt! Then I remembered that advertisement I saw online and contacted the artist offering the classes. Denyse was kind, helpful and insightful. She gave me suggestions, directed me to videos of her classes that would help me and even followed up!! So much encouragement, I feel like I can do it. I can go back and rewatch the videos and send questions via email if I need to. Her online classes are interactive, too! All this from the comfort of home! Thanks so much Denyse for helping me find my inner artist!!
