Beautiful place worth a visit as most places are in Wales national park
like
Well worth the walk up, when the path splits you can either take the right hand route to walk all the way up the falls albeit a bit above them or go left and over the bridge and you can navigate a fair way up the side of the water. Decent waterproof shoes are a must though, and it gets a little tricky towards the end!
The walk to the waterfalls is lovely. Especially when you get to walk past a lovely big house it is gorgeous. You can hear the waterfalls before you can see it & once you get there you will never want to leave. I had to pull myself away from this magical place but I will be back again to hear the roar of Arthog Waterfalls once more. Just a little fact for you Arthog in Welsh means bear cave.
A great place to watch water fall
For me it was a great day out walking with the family, with plenty of rain previously the falls looked great. Walking boots are a must and drinking water to take when you get out of breath walking up steep paths and steps. It's not a easy walk to the top but we carried on to the lakes were you'll be greeted by some of the most beautiful scenery in Wales.
