Decent course. Greens aren't bad. Fairways could do with a bit more love.
In a world awful. The club shop sent me an email on Tuesday to tell me my round for Saturday had been double booked and had been put back to 10-40am. So I rang to confirm and all was well gave them my phone number again as it was wrong on the booking form. Arrived at 10am only to be told that the course had been closed since last Sunday because it was waterlogged, no email to tell me, they hadn't update my phone number so couldn't contact me on the day of the booking. Had to pay online before I played so what I want to know is why do you think it's ok to take somebody's money for services hoping that it will be OK on the day, why wasn't I sent an email when you couldn't contact me by phone. When I phoned the course on the Tuesday why wasn't I told the course was closed and may not be open on Saturday. I live over an hour away so a two hour journey and tunnel fees only to be told at the course no golf. Nobody took responsibility in fact I got the old line this is my first day so don't blame me an absolute joke Arrowe park sort it out.
Out of all the public courses arrowe is by far the best course, not the hardest course in the world but the greens are awesome for a public course, hoylake, brakanwood and the port they could all take note to arrow. If it wasn't for Bromborough golf club I'd be giving it 5 starts but Bromborough takes the podium alone hahaha
Really enjoyed this relaxed, round of pitch and putt. As a couple of beginners it's a good little course to build confidence. Would probably not recommend for more serious players as it doubles as a foot golf course, and hence not a pristine playing surface, but the price reflects this; less than 4 for round per adult.
