I never buy Indian takeaways because they don’t taste like I think Indian food should taste. However the Dark Kitchen is on a different level. Everything made fresh right down to the homemade nan breads! I LOVE THIS FOOD. And if you love or think you hate doughnuts (then think again) because the cardamon cream homemade doughnuts are an absolute treat. Love the Dark Kitchen

Had pork and chicken curry both delicious, tasted very fresh. Finished with cardamom custard doughnuts...yummy. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend
We've been eating at the Dark Kitchen since it and The Yard opened and now go back every week for a Friday treat. We're all veggie, and their onion bhaji chaat is superb, but if you ask nicely, Mike will also make you an onion bhaji-loaded naan which is wonderful! He also made a squash curry for us for the first time yesterday which was rich and sharp and delicious and *just* hot enough. I should have taken a picture of it, but couldn't wait to wolf it down TBH!
Amazingly fresh and delicious food. The vegan onion bhaji chaat was incredible - thank you! Will definitely be coming back.
What a great concept. I can't tell you how much we all enjoy the amazing freshly cooked food. We will definitely be back.
