Arrived in the North East at very short notice, having received call from a hospital to get here urgently for an elderly relative. Once here I found I am likely to need to stop at least a week. I called Arnold Clark for a car and was put through to Cheryl Barkas on the rental desk. Cheryl could not have been more helpful and understanding my predicament went out of her way to assist me. I arrived thirty minutes later, where Cheryl processed all the documentation and arranged for me to have a car there and then. Cheryl’s a real attribute to Arnold Clark and gave the best customer service I have ever experienced. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant and took the time to explain everything while ensuring I received the car for my onward journey as quickly as possible, with options to extend should I need to. The car was virtually brand new, immaculate and very clean. All in all, this has been the easiest, most efficient and easiest car rental I have ever made, which was all the more appreciated given the time pressures I was under. Thank you Arnold Clark and in particular Cheryl, amazing service and a great car. You will always be my first choice when visiting the North East in the future, hopefully under better personal circumstances for myself. Greg

Owing to the incapacity of my own vehicle, I found myself in need of a hire car to cover transport needs for a week. I chose Arnold Clark Car and Van Hire because I have had an entirely satisfactory relationship with the organisation for 11years. I was taken through the hire formalities by two very pleasant and patient young ladies who ensured that the experience was a positive one.
