Just over a year ago I moved with my family to the Netherlands from the UK. I first tried to let a property through the high street letting agencies. That turned out to be a dead end street. I then contacted EHR Arnhem and suddenly the opportunity to find a house for my family became reality. Whereas the other agents refused to even consider my application EHR had it's doors open and helped me find a suitable property. The whole EHR team was very helpful, punctual and friendly. As an expat I can only praise this letting agency and can recommend to anyone.
EHR proved to be very flexible when I asked them for help. I was on a tight schedule and had to come from the other side of the country. They had no problem to reschedule up until three times, because I had to cancel twice. Perfect! Very friendly and very helpful. I didn't feel pushed to make a decision nor had the feeling that they are only friendly when showing real interests in their portfolio. In the end, I had to say good-bye to them, since I went with a different realtor. (I was in contact with several of them at the same time). Thanks to EHR, I was able to see a couple of houses. EHR never asked for any payment. That's what I call service. I don't have experience with EHR when pursuing a contract (hence one star off), but I'd definitely recommend them based on my experience.
Sent an email about an apartment, no response in two weeks. Called them twice on Monday and was on hold for over 25 minutes both times. I had no response in any way, shape or form. I would advise against doing business with this company.
My experience with EHR has been appalling. The service was quite helpful when it was time for us to move in. As it should be for the 550.00 in fees for the service which is pricy to literally show a flat and approve the paper work. Sam was direct and efficient. Fast forward to three years of living in the flat and time to move out it was an absolute nightmare dealing with the process. They came around with a very hateful and demanding demeanor as if nothing was to their liking unknown to them (even though they sorted the list) of items the new tenant was to keep. I was told by Michelle to shut up in my own home while she was on the phone trying to sort out the entire process. She was very unprofessional and unprepared of what was even going on with the property. All while I am scrubbing the home with a screaming infant on my hip. The manager eventually took over that process and checked the home and assured we would receive our refund minus a 30 minute cleaning fee for the oven which I had cleaned. (Deduct 140.00 which at this point we were fine with just to move forward with the process!). Fast forward 2 more months and we eventually had to threaten legal action to receive our deposit back! The landlord was very helpful and we loved our home however EHR needs a huge lesson in customer service & effecincy. They seemed to forget that we were also their customer even if we were leaving the premises. I would NEVER recommend their services to anyone in need of a rental.
