I would definitely recommend Armstrong's the staff are very efficient and friendly. The food's worth 5* each time my husband and I have been, we have booked again. The Carvery is excellent, steak pie is succulent and melts in your mouth. Just brilliant!!

We had dinner in this place that was near our hotel. It was steak night and therefore we ordered the plate of the day that was a yummy rib eye stick with lot of sides and a very good brandy sauce. We asked if it was possible to have some fruit out of the menu. They kindly gives us a nice and fresh mix fruit cup.
This restaurant is excellent. The service was good, and the food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Service was first class and staff very friendly and attentive. Definitely a ray of sunshine in these dismal times. % recommend the steak pie.
Lovely Birthday 70th lunch for my dad. Great meal and the service was great.
