Exceptional service and best mussels, crab dip and Cesar salad in town. Moved to Arlington recently and had to this place again. The staff attentive and friendly. Excellent happy hour with 10 crab dip and half a pot of mussels for 15. Try the small pizza at happy hour for 10 too. Son loves the mussels and I enjoy the warm crusty bread with Cesar salad. Crab dip yummy without too much seasoning or cream cheese. They also offer other items on the menu if seafood is not your thing. Mussels are very fresh with several options when ordering. Lucky to live nearby so we can visit often. Shout out to manager Mark and waiter Melvin for chatting with us and welcoming us to the neighborhood.

I really don’t know where to begin..... we had a reservation that we were running late for and traveling from a little ways away. Marc called us and checked on us twice to make sure everything was okay. Upon our arrival, we were given their lemon cello sparkler as a complimentary gesture for our travels. And we were still in our jackets. Marc sat us in the cutest booth and within minutes we were greeted by Melvin our waiter/mixologist.... and in my many years in the industry I have yet to meet many as hospitable as they were. We talked about pre covid industry life and just genuinely enjoyed each other’s company while our oysters and blue crab dip were prepared and brought to the table. Both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The presentation was immaculate and I smiled harder than I had In all of 2020. My boyfriend and I were just glowing. We took part in their Saturday wine bottle specials. 20 for their house cab, chard or rose. We went with the cab which matched perfectly with our lamb shank and clam and squid linguini entrees. The type of happiness that the staff, food and ambience provided brought so much hope to the new year. Marc, Melvin, Emily and Beau provided an experience filled with love and camaraderie. We finished with a flight of their house made cordials created by master Mixologist Melvin and their decadent coconut cheese cake that was literally made from the fingers of angels. I cannot wait to bring everyone I know here for the cheer that the world needs. I feel like my life is better now that I’ve met the staff at Mussel Bar and Grill. My boyfriend and I are beyond appreciative and thankful. We will forever have a home here.

My favorite restaurant in Arlington! Have been going for 5 years now and the biggest compliment I can give is that in that time I've never had anything less than a great experience. The service is consistently friendly and helpful while the food and drinks have never disappointed either. Usually, there is always a time where service at a restaurant lacks but the food is great, or the food was so-so but a great server keeps you coming back - MB always has both!

We shared mussels and the 3 course prix fixe Valentine's day lobster dinner. Very civilized!

Mussel bar is a really nice venue in Arlington with great mussels (did you expect anything less) and a limited menu that includes appetizers, salads, and flat bread. We arrived on a Sunday after the brunch crowd had left, and it was not crowded at all . The bat is well stocked and made awesome bloody Mary's and Mimosa's. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The fresh bread was served warm with butter, but it was superb in the juice from the mussel entree's. We ate way more than we planned (it was that good). There is a a dessert menu, but we opted to skip dessert, despite the temptation of the cheesecake.. their is ample parking in the garage underneath the building, and we went through Total wine to get to the street and into the mussel bar. There are steps, and it can be challenging for a handicapped diner but the staff is helpful and courteous. Our experience was wonderful, the food and beverages delightful. If you are not in a mussel mood, the salads and the hamburger are really good. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
