1000 Ballpark Way F
N/A
The first year they came here in 2017, they held it outside and it was really cool! In my opinion. It was spaced out really well, the maze was cool, and the ice skating rink was nice and big! The second year they held it inside the rangers ballpark and it pretty much sucked. I took friends that year and no one really liked it lol should definitely be put it back outside the park if you come back to Texas!!

For the price its not worth it. We paid all that money and they didn’t even look at our tickets or how many people we had. I didn’t buy the tickets online because online it charges a ridiculous convenience fee, well I ended up paying the same convenience fee paying it there because they buy the tickets on their laptop off the same website! The lights were so basic. Just lit up trees and presents essentially. It was still a fun time but I wouldn’t go again. Couldn’t ice skate because the weather was too warm. I understand but they were still allowing people on for another 20 minutes at the same price. If they’re gonna close it early at least charge less! Wish I could have gotten a refund.
Really neat concept. If you don’t have kids, you’ll probably consider this a 5 star place. It’s organized, there are a million photo opportunities, the shops are interesting, and there are plenty of food options... but not many healthy ones. ;) Regardless of children, the maze entrance is not clearly marked from the beginning, so be sure to ask where it is. I didn’t really appreciate having to walk past multiple vendors to get to the maze entrance. If you do have kids: -you have to walk down stadium stairs, then onto a wooden platform, then steep stairs, to get to the lights. The lights are really neat. I don’t see how a stroller would be a able to get down there unless there’s an alternate entrance. The ice skating area is MUCH smaller than what’s advertised..... and it’s located within the light maze. I guess the magic is what you make of it. I think teens, young couples, and couples without very small children would enjoy it best. If you have children old enough to walk/look around for a while, they’ll enjoy the maze. The shops are completely for adults.. kind of like a craft fair style... so there’s not much for kids to do other than see Santa and the light maze.
Had a lot of fun with a group of friends. The food was great, the maze and scavenger hunt was a lot of fun, skating was fun, and there is tons of beautiful scenery to take memorable pictures. I would definitely go again!
Absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely go again next year if they do it again. Wear appropriate shoes for water in case there is melting ice. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't want to dirty a pair of expensive shoes.
