Wonderful experience with Davy Jones Diving! I did the PADI Advanced Open Water course plus a couple of fun dives. The shop really takes care of you and fits the dives to your experience and comfort level. Everyone is friendly and personable, and I really enjoyed spending the week diving here. The dives themselves were also awesome! Saw tons of sea life, including a few rare finds, like swimming angel sharks, a writhing eel on a night dive, and a ray from pretty close range. I also felt that the precautions taken for preventing the spread of corona were very good - we got our temperature measured every day when we arrived, masks must be worn at all times except right before entering the water, and all activites at the shop were conducted outdoors with widely-spaced seating areas. They are really a great team with a great shop.

This really is a great dive centre. They certainly fulfill all the standard requirements of of top place, safety, good equipment, good dive guides etc but they excel in all the other little things that make you feel they have gone the extra mile. Communication, friendliness, helpful, happy, enthusiastic, deep local knowledge. All that's before you even talk about the website which covers just about everything you might wish to know before arriving. I dive for a week with almost everyone from the centre and had great dives with all of them. I didn't take any courses while I was there but I saw plenty of people being taught well not just box ticking. I will return when next passing through.
Getting my PADI open water certificate at Davy Jones dive centre was a great experience. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful and my dive instructor Hector gave me the best possible learning experience and made every part of it a great time. Would highly recommend this place!
What a fantastic outfit! All the staff were welcoming and helpful from the outset. Booked the advanced open water course having completed open water in UK. Day one was spent getting back into things, a couple of fun dives (no doubt testing that we weren't clowns!). Thanks Hector and Edwardo. Day two deep and nav adventure dives, both fantastic locations. Plenty to see and explore. Day three, fun dive in morning then search and recovery adventure dive in afternoon. Swell had kicked up so getting in and out was like Coasteering! Day four, extra couple of fun dives. Went down a hole, in the big cave and saw loads of awesome fish etc. Day five boat and wreck day down with Jerry and the gang in Mogan. Thanks to our instructor Brett, and of course Brian and Jessica for sorting us out re planning and logistics. We stayed in nautilus appartments. Comfortable and convenient to dive centre as well as beach, shops and eateries. Explored the local area in the early mornings and after the days diving (which finished before 3, leaving plenty of time for sunshine and exploring). Thanks again for a fab week, we'll recommend to the world and look you up if we're in Gran Canaria again. Give us a shout if you're ever visiting West Wales, we'll throw you off some cliffs Coasteering :D Cleopatra & Jerry x
Here you have a great group of divers that plan each dive taking the local conditions and the experience of all divers into account. The result is that each dive has maximal chances of being memoral for everyone participating. They're very close to the nature reserve, and in my time diving with them I saw tons of wildlife, including angel sharks. I really appreciated how they took care to compose all of the dive groups and plan the dives so that, whether you're advanced or novice, you'll have a great dive at one of the numerous available, beautiful sites nearby.
