Not recommended. The area itself is beautiful and I would recommend a day trip to enjoy the beautiful lakes but the camp site seems to have many semi residents who allow their children to play, shout and even sing at 3am. After staying one night we are leaving immediately. There seems to be no noise controls whatsoever. I decided to ignore some of the negative reviews and give this camp site a chance but many of the reviews are accurate and you will likely have an unpleasant time staying at this camp site unless you enjoy being kept awake all night by screening children and no parents in sight. Beware!

Superb location, worth it for the drive up the valley alone. Nice beach. Decent facilities even when we went at the end of the season it was clean and well serviced.

Pretty mediocre campsite but has a large clean toilet block which was nice. Right beside the lake but brings cold windy wind off the mountain. There's a dog on the site that barks constantly...

Very calm in offseason. Nicely located at lake and very friendly staff! When we were there no shops or restaurants were open- so better cater a bit in advance - just to be on the safe side... Hardly any trees, so it made a bit of an uncomfortable and dreary impression - the weather might have supported this effect, as it was cold and foggy. Sanitaries old but well maintained.

Here in September and it is so so quiet, tranquil and a beautiful setting. Good facilities, showers and toilets are kept very clean. English spoken by the attendant and she is very helpful. Somewhere to swim, eat and drink. Village close by with a selection of places to eat and drink.
