Been with Ian four times. Twice on Splendour and twice in his former life! His local knowledge combined with his thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made each trip very memorable and special. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you Ian. I live with the hope of another trip one day.

A wonderful way to escape from the 'real' world. Outstanding scenery, superb food and excellent company aboard Splendour. 4 voyages in 3 years and we have visited many islands taking us as far South as Ailsa Craig and as far North as The Shiants. We have seen dolphins, porpoise, whales, seals, deer and many many seabirds. A holiday aboard Splendour is like no other and Iain and his chef go out of their way to make sure you really do have the holiday of a lifetime. If you want to experience the West Coast of Scotland by sea - Argyll Cruising is the company to travel with.
Just completed a 6 night Skye and small islands cruise on the Splendour . This will be one of the most memorable holidays I have had. Ian the owner and skipper couldn't have been more attentive to our needs. The food was wonderful and the trips ashore always an adventure. I would thoroughly recommend this cruise if you like a mix of relaxation activity and good food. Thank you Ian for a fantastic week.
I have returned from the inaugural voyage of the 2018 season. It was wonderful! The Inlets and islands of Wild Argyll were scenic and beautiful- the hikes were just right for early in the season and the food-I could go on and on. Chef Mike is a wizard in the small kitchen. I have food allergies and I was spoiled by his attention to detail. Was a great holiday. I hope to make another trip. Oh yes Jamie was so helpful prior to the trip- Thank you Iain for such a great trip
A beautifully converted fishing vessel, Splendour makes for a great charter holiday.
Fabulous week on the Splendour - everything about it was great - the accommodation, the food, the scenery, the crew - so will certainly book again.
