Great place to see sea turtles in the morning, when fishing boats are selling their catch, the turtles are there for the remains. The port is a charming place, with a pleasant walk ahead and a nature reserve. At the other end, you can take a ferry to Lixouri, which is a lovely trip and a quick way to get to that part of the island. There is also a front walkway to the other side of the port, the bridge separating the nature reserve from the sea. Some good cafes and taverns along the front.

Location is just mesmerising beautiful houses and hotels clear sea and mountains around, like dream place

Visited on a TUI cruise in May. Weather beautiful. The ship needed a Tender, which isn't a major problem. Went on an excursion to see the highlights of Kefelonia. More to follow, but I'll post some pictures.
