I was in Argos this afternoon to buy Earbuds for Christmas presents. I have to thank Claire who met me at the door and helped me at the Monitor to order what I wanted. Thank you Claire for your attention and friendly help. It was very much appreciated.

I'd give zero stars if I could!! Argos are a complete and utter disgrace!!! - This morning my father and I went to Argos, the Richmond centre branch, to collect an exercise bike. When we got it home it was damaged, I tried ringing, but they don't pick up the phone. So we returned to the store, there wasn't a replacement, so Martin, the manager (who was trying to do his best) - rang the Crescent link branch, explained the situation, then gave me a 10% voucher \for our trouble\ - I reserved a second exercise bike for myself, went to the Crescent Link store, collected both, went to my dads and built the replacement, then took my one home, but as I started to build it noticed that the same plastic component (covering the flywheel) was damaged) (most of the polystrene blocks in the box were damaged when I opened it, so I shouldn't be surprised!!) - I tried ringing - but of course, they don't answer either!! - I then went on the \chat\ to complain, I wasted around 30-40 minutes on that, the only thing the operator could do was send an email to head office! - Eventually he agreed to phone the store - and even after the previous issues of the day (WHICH THEY KNEW ABOUT!!) - they weren't prepared to do anything!! - The arrogance is unbelievable!! - I'll be returning the exercise bike (all 17.5kg of it!!!) and won't be using Argos again!!!

I don't like argos because I bought an external hard drive for around 100 but when it became faulty after a short time and took it back they refused to replace it or refund me saying that it had nothing to do with them even though they sold it to me and that I should contact the hard drive manufacturer myself. I was a student and this purchase was essential for my course and meant a big expenditure for me. PC World told me that they would have refunded me or replaced the product. All purchases since then I make with PC World.
