Argos Doncaster Wheatley Centre

I’ve had 2 faulty tv’s delivered and had a collection slot confirmed to be picked up and refunded. They didn’t turn up or get in touch so I returned to the store today and got my refund, which incidentally the helpline staff said I couldn’t do. Never again will I use the delivery service as it’s useless. The staff member in store was very friendly helpful and understanding.

I get that we are in the middle of a pandemic and some of us have to keep working throughout but this is no excuse for the service today! My god are the staff on the door miserable, no manners or help of any kind. Rude, shouting, and genuinely unfriendly. When we accidentally ordered 2 of a product we just got told it wasn't their problem and we had to drive for miles just to be able to return a product. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the click and collect service is pretty fast and well organised and parking is plentiful!

I would always prefer to leave positive reviews but Argos, you are failing miserably. Three times I arrived to collect an Ebay purchase today, and the queues were 100 strong outside let alone indoors. It might appear to be a success to have such large queues at your door, but imagine the people who decided to do what I am about to do, cancel my Ebay purchase to be collected from your store, and have it delivered by AMAZON. Why haven't you done your customers justice and employed seasonal staff? It's very sad to watch the demise of the traditional high street stores such as Argos, but AMAZON are running circles around your feet. Good bye Argos, hello Uncle Geoff.

Due to Covid regulations it was click and collect only. Got the text and email straight after payment was made. Got to Argos to find a queue all the way to Matalans old exit. Thankfully the queue didn't take too long to go down and 10 minutes later we got to the door. Told the lady at the table our numbers and then had to stand to the side and wait again. A couple of minutes later our TV was brought out and the purchase was complete. Everyone behaved well, kept socially distant and wore masks. Argos did what they could to make the collection as quick and painless as possible. Thank you.

I have just been in store to return a faulty item, no problems, refund given, helpful staff, ordered a different make and model. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Well done Argos especially with all that's going on at the minute.
