I have order quite a few items to this store recently and the assistance has been amazing. I ordered the wrong colour side table which was rectified instantly. The staff are friendly and helpful while keeping a safe distance.

Was greeted by woman wearing a full covering face mask. Being deaf I couldn’t lip read. She kept repeating herself. Despite telling her I was deaf and pointing to my hearing aids, she ended up getting upset with me because she thought I was being funny with her. Because she just didn’t understand how a 30 year old man could be deaf. She set off my anxiety having heart pulperations so my what should have been a simple click and collect ended up causing unnecessary distress and she carried on with her day without a care in the world.

I bought a phone online and collected in store. 10 days later the price was reduced by over 50. I contacted Argos via online chat and was explicitly told I would be refunded the the difference but it would need to be in store. I drove to the Barry store and no-one had a clue what to do even though I brought a transcript of the online chat with me. I was asked to leave my contact number and they would contact me later. I was contacted a short while later and told I was not entitled to a refund. I have driven over 30 miles and wasted over an hour of my time on the say so of Argos and all for nothing. I have spent many many thousands of pounds with Argos over the years but I will never return or recommend them.
