Sad experience where I agreed with Marian to buy a pair of skiboots for a nice discount, only to find out later that the owner who wasn't happy with the discount had clawed part of it back by artificially increasing the rental price of my skis. Honour the deals you make guys!!

rented supposedly expert skis but they had no edges, were several seasons old, and one of the ski brakes was not sprung properly so that when I lost my ski it travelled several hundred yards down the mountain without stopping
