Take the cable car from Argentiere and in a few minutes you'll be at 3300m. Here you can have a breath taking view over the Mont Blanc Massive and Chamonix Valley, Flegere-Brevent domain. Near the cable station it's a small hut with menu for drinks and meal. For the advetures you can take a hike to the near summit around 4000 m and in winter you can choose a sky slope.

We had a great experience at the Grand Montets, I highly recommend getting the multi pass, we got a two-day pass which we felt was sufficient for going to all of the places we were interested in. There were many snow hikers coming along during Transit with ice picks and snow gear in hand which was neat to see, this is a great place to bring some meat and cheese and settle down for lunch so while surrounded by snow on Swiss peaks. Just be careful to not get poked in the eye by an ice pick, other people carrying their equipment aren't necessarily paying attention to what they are carrying on them.
Amazing place. Nice view even during summer days.
A must visit if you're in the Chamonix Valley. A great alternative to Aiguille du midi cable car, which goes up to 3200 meters which breath taking views. It's also a starting point for mountaineers, or if you just want to play with snow even during summer. Just bring some warm layers because it's cold up there!
Very good quality / price ratio. Very nice view. Possibility to walk on the snow in the midle of summer
I love skiing in Argentière, bit detached from Chamonix, but for me, by far the best skiing in the area. La Tour next door is much less challenging, but still worth a visit for mixed ability groups
Awesome place!!!! Snow and much more
During the summer perfect for hikes and photography. During the winter, unforgettable ski.
