Cannot recommend them for car diagnostics because of pricing and reporting. On the website it says it starts from 24 with high level faulty codes, when I go there they told me 58, when I picked up the car they charged me for 81 with no fault codes except “Turbo has excessive play” I came to here based on Google reviews and Which? Trusted Traders, however I don’t think they deserve it.

Updated review: I have to say the follow up service received from Archdeacon in response to our previous review was exceptional. As demonstrated in their response below, the business maintained a high standard of professionalism and sought to resolve the issue we originally had. This can be rare in such cases, whereby business often become disgruntled when met with a negative review. I have since decided to change the 1 star rating to 5 stars in light of my most recent interaction with the business and their willingness to put things right. I would like to give a particular thanks to Sam who has assured us of a plan of action to have the necessary works completed on our car. Previous review: Such a shame. My partner had is MOT done at Archdeacon for a car he's planning to get back on the road again after having it in storage. Following the MOT failure, we have asked for a quotation from the garage so we can prepare to have the required works done. It has now been over a week and we have called the garage roughly three times to ask them to send us a copy of the quote breakdown. Each time we have been informed that they will be sending it across to us via email. Sam I believe is responsible for this simple job. You'd think they'd jump at the idea of retaining their custom. Apparently not at the moment. We'll try again tomorrow and possibly the day after...
They where very quick in getting the work booked in and done for my van, very reasonably priced too! Would 100% recommend to all my family and friends.
Top class garage. Always honest and helpful.
