A very nice idyllic 3star family hotel in the small center of Arcen. What a joy to have been here and to have met the very nice, kind and helpfull staff/owners. The rooms are located at the first floor. (No elevator). It is clean and tidy and big enough. There is a thea/coffee facility, small safe and a good working 32" LCD screen with several foreign stations. The bathroom is a bit outdated but clean and functional. The renovation was planned in 1th Q of 2020 but due to corona postponed. Breakfast buffet is served at the restaurant "De Hoeve" at the ground floor. This breakfast is excellent. And better than some 4 star rated hotels we have been to. Hotel Arcen has it's own unique bread recipe and is fresh backed every day by the local bakery. Salmon, brie, cheese, ham, salami, scrambled eggs, bacon, peanutbutter and so on. To much to mention. All kinds of coffee, thea, smoothies and fresh orange juice. And of course fresh yogurts, cerials, fruit, crackers ect. This hotel understands the meaning of Quality. Other facilities are good free Wifi, bycicles, and a parking place at the back of the hotel. Great hotel and we will visit again

Very nice hotel, centrally located. free wifi. There's a restaurant but we didn't use it. Breakfast looked expensive so we had breakfast at the bakery on the opposite side of the street. There's a roof terrace. friendly service
Hotel Arcen is a very nice small family hotel in the centre of Arcen. It has a very good restaurant and cosy bar with a beautiful videowall and a good beer chart. Great owners and staff. Very helpfull and friendly. Thanks for having us. The room we had was excellent. Better then several 4 stars hotels we have visited. It was very clean, modern, and had all the comfort you wish for. Including coffee/tea set and a big LCD screen. The beds are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit outdated and is awaiting renovation but due to corona this is postponed. But it is clean and has all you need. Breakfast is excellent. The bread is fresh backed every day by the local backery with the recepy of the owner/chef. Delicious. But the buffet has many other kinds of bread. It's very good and has every thing you wish for. From salmon to smoothies. Really good. The owner is also the owner/Chef of the restaurant "De Oude Hoeve". All food is made with fresh ingredients. And you can taste that! Awesome. As a selfmade spareribs expert I can say these ribs are on my top 3 ever. Marinaded for 48 hours. The tastefull meat falls from the bone. Great.
Hotel is more less good, perfect restaurant but very thin breakfast
This place is unique and unforgettable. The rooms are extremely comfortable, private and quiet. The views are stunning.

Nice place to stay on a nice busy square. Food is better than rooms.
