The staff welcomes you in and is so lovely, always up for a friendly chat. The fish and chips are like they should be, fresh and the 'old fashioned way'. Fried in beef dripping and you can taste the difference! The special for 4.99, tea, fish and chips and sliced bread is unbeatable and makes the perfect luncheon for very little money. Superior to many of the more upmarket places further down the road. Best value for money in town
This chip shop has to be the best one in Whitley Bay if not, then in the whole of North Tyneside. It's hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre down a little alleyway and has it's own upstairs restaurant. The fish is always fresh, in fact everything is pretty fresh. My little eight year old son is a big fan of the gravy, a must visit if you've never been before
