I have a different experience. Happen to love it here. For me? Very quiet, great neighbors. I do like the people who work in the office, and maintenance too. The previous review sent me a notification. Just not my experience at all. When my job was in limbo, they worked with me. Would recommend to friends if they wanted to live in this part of town.

Lived here 2 years. It's pretty nice to live at, I love being able to walk to Trader Joe's, starbucks, and the arboretum stores. Parking is good, complex feels safe and quiet. I love the new dog park, and all the green and quiet, shaded areas to walk my dog. The gym and pool are always well kept. I never once felt unsafe walking around here at night. Onto some not so great things- The chimney/bar area roof would leak badly whenever it rained. The water damage was pretty bad. It got moldy in the corner. Nothing was done about the mold until I moved out, even though I let the office and maintenance know about this issue repeatedly. And if you live in the smallest 1bd unit, getting a stackable washer/dryer in the closet space into the laughably too-small closet for it is sad, and is a real headache to both install and remove a unit. I had to get my door removed, because otherwise you can't close the door and it doesn't really fit. That stuff aside, if I was in a unit that wasn't moldy and leaky I'd definitely live here again.

Unfortunately maintenance seems to be getting slower- more interested in getting apartments ready to re-rent than helping tenants. Emergency? Good luck!

The office staff at Arboretum Oaks is phenomenal! My family was looking to relocate to Austin for my job, and our tour was above and beyond anything we had previously experienced in the Austin area. Due to COVID our plans have changed and we are staying put at our current place, but look forward to moving into the Oaks in the future. They definitely won us over and we will be back!
