We had a boiler service and we were really impressed with the price. Tony was really professional and a really nice guy. Would definitely use the A and R central heating again !

Fantastic Service. Boiler broke down on Saturday night. On Sunday I contacted British Gas Homeserve who I have had a contract with for many years. They could only offer to come and fix the boiler at the beginning of March - 3 weeks away. I had also been told by them previously that the cause of the breakdown, a known fault - a worn bearing in the fan - could only be fixed temporarily by 'greasing it up' since they could not get the part which was obsolete and that I would soon need to replace the boiler. I contacted AR on Sunday. An engineer, Marius, arrived on Monday morning. He agreed that the fan was the problem. He then sourced a new fan at a supplier in Bury, 20 miles away, drove there, returned and replaced it in the boiler. we then discussed whether I should soon need to replace the boiler in the near future, since it is about 20 years old. I was reluctant to do so due to logistical reasons of repositioning. He advised that the boiler seemed fine and there should be no immediate need for replacement. The boiler is now fine and working better than ever, since the previous botched job was affecting the efficiency. Fantastic service. I would be happy to recommend A-R to anyone with boiler problems. Marius, the engineer, was friendly, helpful and courteous at all times and careful to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions. Andrea, at AR,s office, was also friendly and helpful in handling payment by card over the phone.
Just wanted to thank AR Central Heating & Boiler Repair Experts Ltd for the Boiler repair completed. An emergency repair request booked in at short notice and job completed.. Which was appreciated. The engineer advised and explained what the problem was...completed the repairs needed and was professional in his overall approach also following COVID 19 guidance required whilst completing the Boiler repairs ...big thanks ...nice warm house again.
