This place is just beautiful! It's a great place to take a walk, ride a bike, swim, go Canoeing, or just sit and relax while working or reading. It's also completely free. I love sitting next to the waterfall or the lake and just reading. I will miss this beautiful location as I do not live in Augusta Georgia. It was great while I was there.
Don't use Google maps to get here! Just go past the Lake Olmstead stadium and drive until the road ends at gravel lot. It's so peaceful and serene! Enjoy.
It’s a nice little place and would be quite peaceful except there seems to be tons of people everywhere all the time, even here. Which also brings me to my next problem, the disgusting people who leave trash all over the place. Can’t have anything nice because people are nasty!
