The parc is recognised by Unesco as a biosphere. In this region you can visit small villages like Gordes,Roussillon. Enjoy great views. The area is also great for cyclists and for some nice walks in forests.

Easy to get to. We came from nice and stayed a night in a tent in the nearby horse ranch. Initially we thought we had to book a canoeing day trip in advance. But in the end we were able to drive just up to the bridge and park there. There’s a paddle boat and canoe rental service by the hour at the shore just next to the carpark. Very convenient and not expensive. We picnicked on the paddle boat as we went through the gorge. A fun experience.

Beautiful national park. It's full of all and nice towns and natural environments. I suggest to anyone which want to have an holiday far from common turistic places.

There are vineyards, hilltops, rocks to climb, paths waiting to be explored and breathtaking vistas to be admired. Small towns are nothing less than charming. A must-go for all wine and nature lovers. Also good to seek artistic inspiration or soul search, like many artists and writers did before.

Very beautiful regional park with lots of history and great scenery. Local villages are beautiful and many are perched on rocky hills. Local markets are also quite interesting and worth visiting

It is a large landscape, with beautiful villages or small towns. You can spend there a week of \mind cleaning\ from all the modern world craziness. Take your time, find a pastoral Room or boutique hotel (don't go to a classic hotel). Enjoy the easy going rhythm. Drink good coffee by morning, good local wine and Pastis by evening, with good local dishes for lunch and dinner.

This is one of the most beautiful areas of France. We came here several years ago and stayed in Buoux (right in the middle of the park). This served as a center point of excursions in every direction. Visit Saignon, Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Gordes, Menerbes, and Roussillon to name just a few of the great places. Drive the narrow roads to take in the natural beauty of the mountains and the valleys. Go Truffle hunting in the mountains. We have lived nearby for the last two years, so when I say we know the area well, that would be the truth. Visit wineries. There are two monasteries worth a visit. Visit the markets. Shop for pottery.
