Amber Rose was a wealth of information. The facilities are in great shape and resources are ample despite covid restrictions.

We unfortunately got here after 5 and the park was closed. Good news is that you can just park and walk up to the park as it is technically open until dusk. It was nice having the place to ourselves, we were really able to soak in the atmosphere of the historic place. No one rushing us or loud children. So if you're able to, I'd say it would be worth it to go after hours. Make sure to take some time to visit the other landmarks and trails around Appomattox.

The ground are awesome, lots of info to read about the different buildings. We went during COVID so the two main buildings were closed, which was disappointing, but I enjoyed my first visit there.

It's a great place to visit,tells a lot of things that are not in the new history books. I highly recommend you visit.

This is a really great place to visit with so much history here. I did the 7 mile hike around the park and saw so many amazing things.
