Visit the Dales regularly but first visit to Appletons butchers in Ripon market place. Looked a very nice shop. Purchased a quiche and chicken, ham and leek pie. Both very nice and will be back for more and to try other products.

Bought some dry cured back bacon, and when i dry fried it, it was full of water. Even the paper it was wrapped in was soaking wet when i opened it.
I love their steak pies, pork pies, sausages and breakfast rolls far too much!!
Visited the shop in Ripon for first time (actually live in Lincoln), bought pork pie and black pudding. The black pudding was THE best I've eaten and the pork pie wasn't half bad either. Hence 5 stars.
I wish I could take all your food back with me to America! I especially love your pork and apple lattices.
