Great venue to eat after a walk around nicky nook. Not formal, nice and relaxed. Excellent food and the staff are doing an amazing job under the current circumstances we all find ourselves in. Would definitely recommend. If your looking for posh nosh this is not right for you. Good down to earth food hereand try to make room for a cake, if not take one home.

Really liked this place. Fully booked but they squeezed us in for breakfast. Sat in a Beautiful orangery with a grapevine overhead. The full english breakfast was good quality with excellent sausage and black pudding, the granary bread was superb and huge chunky slices. We also tried the smoked salmon and avocado on toast, I had porridge and neither disappointed. Lovely fresh eggs with deep orange colour. They accept dogs and have a pretty garden to walk around outside with a few interesting shops. Toilets could do with an overhaul. Well worth the drive as its a little off the beaten track. Highly recommended.
Afternoon tea was excellent. Beautiful sunny day. The atmosphere and surroundings were just perfect. Staff helpful and pleasant.
Popular cafe with the choice of sittinf in the greenhouse or outside in the lovely gardens. Couple of craft shops in the grounds and some nice walks close by
6 of us out for the afternoon had gone to have a look at one of the art galleries but just out luck it was closed because of a prior appointment. We went for coffee instead. (We will be going back to the gallery because we live nearby.) The Nutella hot chocolate is as good as a meal. Saying no more you will have to try it yourself if you are not on a diet. They also do excellent coffee. Great weather to be sat outside and then had a walk through the grounds. There is a playground for the kids too. Some of the swings looked like fun but there were too many kids waiting to use the. Maybe next time.
