I have been going to APPI for over 3 years and couldn't exist without it. The classes are amazing -thank you Alice, Cassie, James and Sophia. Expert physio in a lovely environment.

I saw Jess Harland who helped me through back pain. A brilliant physio who is both professional and friendly throughout all our sessions. I liked the way she was able to explain the physiological reasons behind how my pain arose and helped me through exercises which gradually increased over time, the more sessions we had. The office itself is modern and well lit. The equipment in the studio is also fairly new and well looked after and the toilets are always clean with nice hand wash. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I have been attending a regular pilates class for several years and am greatly impressed by the professionalism of all the teachers and staff. I have recently had physiotherapy treatment by Melanie White and she is achieving greater success in dealing with my condition than any other therapist I have tried in recent years. Really excellent in diagnosis and treatment

The courses and teachers are good. But it does seem that customer care is lacking. Be aware that if you purchase a course or a series of courses, even if you haven’t confirmed a date/location, they will charge you a 50 ‘admin fee’ per course if you want to cancel your course and ask for a refund. Packages of courses that they sell, for example 3 course in one package, they will still charge 50 per course if you want to cancel them (150 in total in this example). I’m not entirely sure what ‘admin’ is involved with a refund for a course that hasn’t had the location or date confirmed yet. Madness.

I've now been a regular if not always frequent user of APPI physio and 1:1 Pilates sessions for 6 years. My brain is too good at cheating for me to apply myself to a Pilates class, but my weekly hour with a highly trained, dedicated and patient physiotherapist who is prepared to tackle the apparently impossible is costly, but, as my one luxury, extremely good value. I leave the session feeling more flexible, more mobile and stronger with the determination to continue with daily regimes at home. There's usually also the option to switch to a pure physio session if the answer to the question of how I've been since last time suggests I have an injury or a strain. It takes time to build a relationship with a healthcare professional but with the APPI team, if you are honest from the point of engagement, progress is rapid and the sessions fun as well as productive. I have confidence that my physiotherapist knows what she is doing and that she will continue to adapt exercises until she feels I'm getting the benefit I should be getting.
