Joon is a design and sales platform that aims to create income generation modalities by developing capacity in vulnerable groups through the power of good design. In Joon, we build a solution to social exclusion through economic empowerment of the vulnerable groups while focusing complementary on their visibility. On our platform, we provide design and sales support to our beneficiaries by bringing them together with designers and prospective customers. The impact model of Joon is harmonized with a three-stage revenue model. 1. We sell the products of the collection through online, corporate and retail channels. In each sale cycle, the beneficiary is economically empowered with sustainable pay. We decrease poverty by making access of vulnerable groups to decent work. In each collection, we make the stories of our producers visible. Each product we have becomes a messenger of empathy in a wider community that reduces inequalities. 2. We know that many local and international NGOs that share our vision and willing to spread their community this awareness through products and services. We provide consultancy to these organizations and support them to create sustainable impact. 3. We increase the capacity of public, private and civil organizations through trainings we provide in-service design, human-centered design, and systemic design to spread the understanding regarding a community-focused social innovation.
