Need a patio lunch or dinner spot for two? This is it! My wife were seeking a patio dining experience that was also romantic, without breaking the budget. Anis met the criteria, we had the steak, short rib, with bread. Their menu is mainly french foods, so I definitely want to revisit for their salads and other lunch options. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5, mainly that the food was good, but nothing outstanding, but the service and atmosphere, great!

Very good French Bistro. The space is very nice French style and the food remind us French Bistro. The bread was fresh and soft with crunchy, the trout was very light dish with spinach and artichoke. Will surely come again
Best service and food. We were able to get a reservation, no wait when we got there. The restaurant was perfectly in theme and we had plenty of space so we all felt comfortable. The food and wine was amazing, along with the many bread baskets. Our server and his helpers kept our drinks filled and made it one of the best dinners ever. I can’t wait to come back!
Food was excellent! We were a party of five and we tried lots of things. See the photos but it won’t describe the taste . Also it is so warm and cozy ,service is great... my daughter loved her trout ,I took the anis plate and it was so fresh and good: the salmon was very good ,son and hubby took the short rib and it was ok. Appetizers were excellent,we were trying to decide what was best but couldn’t -mussles ,escargot, salmon .., my new favourite
I’ve only been here twice but both experiences weren’t great. We went the day after Christmas last year and had no choice but to valet, but there was no one else at the restaurant and the valet was kind of pointless because he just had us park our own car. Then we were asked if we had a reservation, which I understand to some extent but we were the only people in the restaurant the entire time we were there. We were seated by a bus boy who clearly had no clue what he was doing. It took a while to get a high chair, we had to wait on bread because it wasn’t ready and our waiter hardly came around. The second time I went was today, the day after thanksgiving. Thankfully the valet was gone, so we easily parked ourselves but again we were seated by a bus boy who told us we couldn’t sit at a certain table since we didn’t have a reservation. There was no one else in the restaurant and the table we wanted was empty the entire time we were there. Our waiter was nice though so the service was a bit better his time but our food was just okay. I ordered a croque madam with a side of chips and I counted and there were only four chips in the bowl. My son enjoyed his kids pasta. The only redeeming qualities from both of my visits was the ambiance and location. It’s a quaint patio and we live in garden hills. For 70 I think we can find somewhere better.
