We came to the practice in October with our very poorly Smudge, he was having continuous seizures and had to be put to sleep. The vet was so good with him and with me that I will be forever grateful. Two months later in December our eldest cat Mirry started vomiting blood, we rushed her in as an emergency to discover she had a tumour on her thyroid on top of her many preexisting conditions, so she too had to be put to sleep. Mirry saw a different vet to Smudge, the compassion shown to myself and to her shows me that this is standard at this practice and not dependant on which vet you see. Thank you all for being there for Smudge, Mirry and myself when we needed you most. My other two cats and my dog are also registered here and I have no hesitation on bringing them in if they need any medical treatment.

First visit today. Very impressed with the service provided. Thorough examination of my cat and and clear explanation of problem and treatment. With being non profit only paid for medication required would highly recommend

They were very considerate and supportive and helped me accept that I needed to let my amazing, loving and loyal dog of over 18 years pass away, in the most beautifully loving way possible cuddling up together he was so calm and they gave him premed so our last time together he was 100% pain free.... the vet and staff were fantastic. I can’t thank them enough, they also arranged the cremation and return of his ashes

We had a really good overall experience with Animal Trust Vets in Blackburn. Our two cats always had wonderful care whether we went just for a check-up or something more serious. We also never had to book an appointment ages in advance. We got sorted pretty much within 3 working days which is quite impressive knowing how many people they actually help daily. Overall, very positive experience
