Nice place. Decent prices. The host is very friendly and can tell you much stuff about the city and area in general.
I love this place and I really appreciate how much the owner John has done for me. I've backpacked through a few countries and I have never experienced this amount of service. The guy provides personal care for a guest who is ill and he gives you all the advice and help he can. And he knows this town. 10/10. If you are looking for a very fancy place, however, this isn't what you are looking for. It's got a lot of atmosphere though. If you are not looking for a fany place, just make your way over here. The location is convenient.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly hostel but offers a comfy room and convenient location, Agcatan Guesthouse is the answer. Rooms are not that spacious and elegant as others but best suit for people who look for low cost yet solemn place. I had an awesome time staying here. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating, they were right there when you need them and didn't matter at what time of the day: a true sample of hospitality.
