the rustic dining area opens to a serene garden- creating an ambience that encourages guests to eat in slow, relaxed manner. The chef explained each dish which, though seemingly a mere kapampangan staple, is given an interesting twist. Unlike most fusions though, Bale Dutung's versions are the best.
My third time there. Nice to see Chef Claude again. Enjoyed the company of friends but since there were almost 40 people in the function it took a long time for the food to be served. Food was still great but portions were in Sampler size. Some of us were not able to wait for the entre.
You don't just go here to eat, you go here for the best gastronomic experience that Pampanga has to offer. We took the 10-course Kapampangan meal and I enjoyed every bite! Love as well how Mary Anne would explain the background of each dish and talk about her culinary adventures in the provinces of the Philippines.

This is one for the palate and for the experience. The menu selections are interesting and deliciously satisfying. The host is gracious which make our lunch truly enjoyable. Will come back for sure.
