When we moved into the house, the house was not left in a great way. The grass was so over grown a lawn mower wouldn’t go through it, cat hair everywhere (and I’m allergic to cat hair!) shower wouldn’t work and then leaked all over the bathroom floor. Mould in many rooms, dirt all up the walls, cupboard doors had fallen off, oven was full of grease and food. Dents in doors and just a bit gross. Tape all over the doors and ceilings. Myself and 3 others including a professional cleaner and builder spent 2 days getting the house up to scratch. Handing my notice in was also a bit of a pain, no one would accept it for months! The end of the tenancy was fab. It was slightly annoying to loose some of the deposit due to cleaning fees considering the house was no where near as clean when we moved in as to how we left it! Jodie who works at Andrews was absolutely fantastic to work with and made the experience so brilliant to end with.
