Oddly enough this store is closed most days. I managed to find it open on a Sunday. They call it a "boutique" hmmm. I asked the young Chinese gentleman behind the counter if he could please tell me what the difference between the longjing teas were and he replied: " Someone like you wouldn't know the difference." What the actual? I worked in Fujian Province back in the day and know a lot more about tea than your average weiguoren. And I draw upon this knowledge to honestly declare that the overpriced tea I purchased from Ancient Tea tasted stale and well past it's use by date by a few months. Sad!
Excellent place with a range of delicious tea sorts to choose from, beautiful music and a very friendly personnel. Highly recommend!
Fine selection of high quality teas, very helpful service also. Great if you are looking for specialty black, green, oolong, white or pu-erh teas.
