What a gem. Charming pub in a very nice riverside location. I attended in December but many tables indoors allow a view of the river and surrounding countryside. I can only imagine it must be glorious in summer when seated outside. The food was delicious and the staff excellent. I shall definitely be returning here to dine and/or for a pint.

Great meal cooked by Bev! Had the Belly of Pork and it was beautiful, Ed had Lamb and Rosemary Pie which He said was very tasty. The service was excellent from Abbi , who really looked after us and Geoff was a great host. We went on a cold evening late December but the Pub was warm and cosy , decorated beautifully for Christmas and had a lovely atmosphere! Well Done , wonderful experience Thanks Geoff and Bev!

I cycled here on a lovely, sunny, October day. I sat outside, on a terrace by the river, and ate a tasty and big portion of ham, egg and chips washed down by two pints brewed by Shepherd Neame (of Faverham). As the tide rose, geese swam by, a cormorant fished forty feet away and the River Colne looked lovely. Service was prompt and friendly.
