A beautiful location. The staff were excellent. So friendly. We turned up with 5 dogs on a very hot day and water was brought for them before our order was taken!!!And their attention to COVID-19 regulations are the best I've experienced. Shame I dont live in these parts as I would definitely go back

Lush food! The 'side' of loaded fries was so big!! Mum says the pulled pork mac n cheese was amazing! Easy booking on the website the day before lovely friendly service from every member of staff we encountered. Highly recommend.
Very well thought out regarding social distancing and sticking to Government guidelines. Drinks ordered at table and brought out on trays where you help yourself, no contact with staff. Temperatures checked if going inside the pub. We'd booked a pod which was cleaned thoroughly after the previous users. Food was excellent and staff super helpful. Will definately be back. Well done to everybody, we all felt very safe and well looked after.
We booked a pod for a birthday meal. The place is spotless, staff very friendly and on the ball with all the covid-19 regulations. They measured our temperature before they seated us and the entire team worked really hard throughout our meal. If you are nervous about eating out in crowded restaurants, anchor inn is the place to be. Yes its true, you have to pay for the pod itself, but when it comes to happiness or your health...
My husband booked a pod at this place as a surprise for my birthday. The location, staff, surroundings and the pods themselves are incredible. And as for the food.. AMAZING! The pork starter was a particular highlight. The pods are beautiful for a special location but it was very tricky to get the temperature right inside as it was a drizzly, damp evening. Also I think it would be a good idea to get some kind of bell or light attached to the pod as it was very dark and quite difficult to be able to get the staffs attention. The staff were great but I couldn't help think that it must be a little uncomfortable for them to keep interrupting romantic evenings! Also, as it was so dark outside and there was a light on inside the pod with the door flap open, there were alot of bugs that were able to enter. So some kind of bug repellent would be good. However, none of these things interrupted a wonderful evening, they are just suggestions. Top notch guys!
